STUDENT PRODUCED PROGRAMMING

Saturday Morning Show
Out of the loop on conversations? Too busy to keep up with the latest happenings? Do you suffer from acute I-miss-that-itis, the syndrome that leaves you saying “I miss that” when it comes to campus news, music, TV and everything in between. Then you need a dose of Tallahassee’s best medicine—the Saturday Morning Show, where you get your weekly fix so you can keep up with the Jones’, the Taylors and the Browns. SMS combines the smooth taste of entertainment news with community concerns to produce a flavor that only WANM can do. Warning side effects include uncontrollable laughter, an overload on knowledge and the occasional urgency to call in. No prescription needed just tune in every Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. and we’ll make sure you get just what the doctored would have order if we didn’t talk about him last Saturday on the show.

SGA Talks
The “Voice of FAMU” brings the voices of the students to the forefront in the weekly forum S.G.A. Talks. The Student Government Association in conjunction with WANM 90.5(FM) hosts the weekly talk show that allows students to address the campus leaders. Student elected president and vice-president openly discuss issues affecting the students of FAMU, along with events going on around campus and campus highlights. The award winning WANM news team presents S.G.A. Talks with host Jessica Larchè every Wednesday at noon.

In The Know
WANM’s award-winning news team is dedicated to providing vital information not only to the FAMU community but also the Tallahassee community. In The Know with Jessica Larchè focuses on issues that concerns FAMUans and Tallahasseeans alike. The Tallahassee area receives detailed news reports in this weekly segment.
